Valerie El-Alfi

Valerie El-Alfi is the Project Director for EPI-LoVE at UCLA’s Biobehavioral Assessment Research Center. Valerie brings 13 years of experience managing projects at the intersection of environment, policy, and human health. Her recent professional roles include leading a pandemic recovery program for New York City, and managing research on substance use disorder in Massachusetts. Valerie brings expertise in consensus building, stakeholder engagement, and conflict management to her work. Valerie holds an MA from American University, an MA from the United Nations-Mandated University for Peace, and a BA from Northeastern University.
