Study overview

People living with HIV can live long productive lives when antiretroviral therapy (ART) (HIV medication) is taken as indicated. But many people living with HIV have difficulties accessing and taking ART. The REMAIN study is designed to help people living with HIV who are having difficulty accessing or adhering to HIV medications.

If you decide to participate in the REMAIN study, you will download the REMAIN app, which is designed to promote healthy living. You will share information about yourself and receive support for your HIV care-seeking and adherence. The long-term goal is to use the app to monitor and support your HIV adherence and care-seeking journey.

We understand how important your confidentiality is. Private information will not be shared outside of the study. We also make sure not to send messages or notifications that mention your HIV status. We are happy to answer any questions you have before enrolling. Please reach out!
